Coral 2024
ALC: 8.5%
GRAPES: 60/40 Pinot Noir/Pinot Gris
VEGAN/VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY. NO EGG/MILK ALLERGENS
PRODUCTION: 934 bottles. Empty bottle 395g, clear glass.
All of the Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris from 2024 went to make this wine.  About 15% of the fruit was de-stemmed into large vessel and the rest pressed. The juice from pressing was put over the retained grapes. After a week a used 500 litre oak barrel was filled with the juice to complete fermentation and the balance was reserved for topping up. After 9 months in wood the wine was bottled and released in the Spring of 2026 after 8 months in bottle.

Why “Coral”?
Well, for starters it’s coral pink, so why not? Also, the underlying geology at the vineyard has carbonates of coral and shell so it’s a bit nerdy as well.

New picture for the label?
Hopefully we will have another Rose Summer, and this wine will be just the ticket. I want to drink it on the beach, and I am as far away from a beach as you can get in England! The new image is based loosely on my nearest, and it is the best part of 100 miles away…If you are familiar with North Norfolk you can probably hazard a guess as to where it might be.

Clear glass bottle?!
Yes, so be careful with having it out for display purposes. The saying is dark glass for sanity, clear glass for vanity, but it does look very pretty indeed.

Tasty?
Naturally! It’s quite zippy but the freshness is a delight. Also it has some presence mid palate that belies the mere 8.5% alcohol.
